What I learned about portraiture from being at the duck pond, is that you have to consider a background that will compliment the person as well as have a place where there is not too much lighting. You should make the model appear as comfortable as possible. I used some of the poses off the sheet given to us, but due to the ground being wet, I also had my model improvise some of her poses. We used the reflector when we are in places that had more shade than others, and to also make the model appear more "brighter" and less washed out. To retouch the photo, I didn't do too much because Reilly is already beautiful, but I touched up a few blemishes using photoshop to make her skin look more smooth. Portraiture photographers, are often hired by magazines, model photo shoots, schools, media, etc... Based off research portrait photographers' salaries can vary based off location. The hour pay can average from $10 to $25. However with circumstances like celebrity photo shoots this can vary.
