1. To change the camera to shutter priority make sure your control dial is on s. To change the different shutter speeds, use the back dial. Turn it left to decrease it and right to increase it.
2. According to what I saw, when shutter speed changes, a picture will become more in focus. When there are more fractions of a second the focus is more detailed, while when there is less such as 1/3, the photo is less in focus. IT is easier to capture a picture of someone jumping when the shutter speed is more fractions of a second such as 1/1000. 3. You would want to use shutter speed when trying to capture an object or action that happens fast. Actions such as running, jumping, etc.. Objects that are moving fast such as trains, cars, etc... Daguerrotype A. The inventor was Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre in 1839 B. The process: The process of making a daguerreotype starts with a silver-plated copper plate. That plate is first buffed and polished until it looks like a mirror. Then the plate is sensitized to light over iodine and bromine in specialized, light-proof boxes. The plate, now yellow-rose in appearance, is then transferred via a light-proof holder into a camera, where it is exposed.Once the plate is exposed, it’s developed or “brought out” over hot mercury, fixed by immersion in a solution of sodium thiosulfate and then washed with distilled water. The final step is to tone or gild the plate using gold chloride Cyanotype A. The inventor was John Herschel in 1842. B. The chemicals used in a cyanotype are ferric ammonium citrate, potassium ferricyanide, hydrogen peroxide, and H2O. C. Steps of creating a cyanotype.
Tracey and Boo have always been the best of friends. From the first time they met at the dog park to graduation from puppy school they've stuck by each other's side. Everyone knew them as inseparable... One sunny day at their local dog park, they were relaxing watching the older male dogs playing frisbee with their owners (they often did this). However Boo could sense Tracey was off about something. She noticed that lately Tracey had been a little rude and weird around her. Boo couldn't take the awkwardness and finally turns to Tracey and asks what's wrong. Tracey looking at Boo tells her, "Boo, when do you think you'll grow up? You are practically a teenager and yet you are still wearing costumes like we did back in puppy school. I feel like if I keep hanging out with you, I'm never going to be able to hangout with the popular girls and have a boyfriend. I'm sorry Boo find me when you grow up..." As Tracey walked away Boo sat there confounded at what had just happened. Her best friend of years had just left her because she couldn't accept who she was. Boo didn't know how to react. All she could do is sit and think of why the one dog she could count on literally just abandoned her for the sake of popularity. As weeks passed by, Boo would sit in the dog park all by herself. She still couldn't believe what happened, but came to a realization that Tracey was probably not worth it if she couldn't accept her for who she was. Boo continued to wear her costumes and hoped to some day find a friend who would truly want to be her friend. One day at the park Boo was sitting and enjoying the outdoors. She finally came to terms with what had happened with Tracey, but couldn't help but want another best friend. After a few hours of sitting Boo felt a weird feeling in her stomach as if something spectacular was going to happen. As Boo was sitting there thinking about what this feeling could possibly mean, a little dog in an angel costume walked up to her. She introduced herself as Clover and complimented Boo's pumpkin costume. Boo immediately lit up inside knowing that Clover was the reason for the feeling. After an afternoon of talking and running around the park Boo and Clover became close friends. From that day on they did everything together. They would go on walks together, go the to the park, and even have sleepovers. Though Boo did occasionally miss Tracey, she was finally happy with having a true friend.
Doing this project, I saw how the different apertures change the focus of each picture. The smaller the aperture number the bigger the focus on the subject, while the bigger the aperture the less it is focused in on a single subject, but rather all of the subjects in the picture. The wider the aperture the more shallow the depth of field, while the narrower the aperture the bigger the increase in depth of field.

Camera obscure is when light enters a dark space through a tiny opening and the result is an image on the wall that is upside-down. In class today we looked at this concept with the shadow of the a tree. The room was blacked out, with a small opening in the blinds to allow the camera obscure of the tree to happen.
