Tracey and Boo have always been the best of friends. From the first time they met at the dog park to graduation from puppy school they've stuck by each other's side. Everyone knew them as inseparable... One sunny day at their local dog park, they were relaxing watching the older male dogs playing frisbee with their owners (they often did this). However Boo could sense Tracey was off about something. She noticed that lately Tracey had been a little rude and weird around her. Boo couldn't take the awkwardness and finally turns to Tracey and asks what's wrong. Tracey looking at Boo tells her, "Boo, when do you think you'll grow up? You are practically a teenager and yet you are still wearing costumes like we did back in puppy school. I feel like if I keep hanging out with you, I'm never going to be able to hangout with the popular girls and have a boyfriend. I'm sorry Boo find me when you grow up..." As Tracey walked away Boo sat there confounded at what had just happened. Her best friend of years had just left her because she couldn't accept who she was. Boo didn't know how to react. All she could do is sit and think of why the one dog she could count on literally just abandoned her for the sake of popularity. As weeks passed by, Boo would sit in the dog park all by herself. She still couldn't believe what happened, but came to a realization that Tracey was probably not worth it if she couldn't accept her for who she was. Boo continued to wear her costumes and hoped to some day find a friend who would truly want to be her friend. One day at the park Boo was sitting and enjoying the outdoors. She finally came to terms with what had happened with Tracey, but couldn't help but want another best friend. After a few hours of sitting Boo felt a weird feeling in her stomach as if something spectacular was going to happen. As Boo was sitting there thinking about what this feeling could possibly mean, a little dog in an angel costume walked up to her. She introduced herself as Clover and complimented Boo's pumpkin costume. Boo immediately lit up inside knowing that Clover was the reason for the feeling. After an afternoon of talking and running around the park Boo and Clover became close friends. From that day on they did everything together. They would go on walks together, go the to the park, and even have sleepovers. Though Boo did occasionally miss Tracey, she was finally happy with having a true friend.
